Quartz is one of the most famous minerals. It occurs in almost all environments and is one of the most abundant minerals on Earth’s surface.
On the science side, quartz is made up of silicon dioxide or silica, which you might recognize from the packets in some of your food. It’s classified as a silicate and occurs in virtually every color. This includes clear, rose, smoky quartz and even Amethyst. Quartz is unique in that it grows in a variety of crystal systems and crystal habits – this is why we get such diversity of shapes and sizes of quartz specimens
On the metaphysical side, quartz is one of the most diversely powerful stones.  Each quartz variant has its own strengths, but they’re all generally believed to aid in your spiritual growth, providing clarity to your thoughts and emotions, and increasing your inspiration and creativity.
