Smoky Quartz Point

This is a substantial piece of Smoky Quartz weighing in at 2.6lbs, and it’s a remarkably deep black with light only passing through the transparency around the edges.
Smoky Quartz is a species of quartz with an excess of unbonded silicon atoms in matrix which become progressively darker with exposure to the natural radiation from our planet and our sun – this is a particularly dark piece (which we love!)
